Plein air oil painting of art festival tent

838 pieces
Today I gifted this plein air study to @cedarhurstarts who for 40 years put on one of the region’s most consequential art festivals. This September marks the festival’s final year. I painted this at the fair in 2023. Oil on panel, 8x10”. For those Biomech art fans, I do these kinds of paintings as a mindfulness exercise to better understand light, color, atmosphere and the emotional impact that a nicely interpreted scene can have. Whatever your style, this stuff is universal.
